Atlantis DSV was first published online in 2002. This first release saw a handful of graphics to complement the first episode, and fill in the visual gaps that were so clearly missing. Drawing much inspiration from seaFire ASV, this was the first chapter in the Atlantis story... The design style that was established in 2002 has continued for seven long years - none of the basic design seen here has deviated much since.

Of note is the design of the Atlantis "ASV" - seen here with her original fin arrangement that would eventually change quite drastically. One image in this archive is the first concept drawing ever made of the Atlantis, showing the tentative designation of "SCASB" - Super Cavitating Advanced Submergence Battlecruiser. This drawing was the first to carry the name "Atlantis", with previous concepts for the submarine going under the name "Aquarius"... a name since used for her sistership.
