April, 2043.

It has been two years since the loss of the Atlantis DSV.

The war for the control of the Pacific has ground to a bloody and bitter stalemate. Captain James Banick and the crew of the UEO Commonwealth are part of a fractured and increasingly disillusioned UEO fleet, her staff finding every day a struggle simply to keep morale alive.

When Admiral Mark Ainsley is assigned a mission that could change the balance of power in the conflict, it slowly becomes clear that sacrifices will have to be made, and loyalties that were once thought unbreakable begin to feel strained.

With the fate of the war hanging in the balance on the commands of governments that threaten to spiral the war out of control, the crew of the Commonwealth must strive to find a common ground, and an alternative to outright catastrophe.
